ANNOUNCEMENT

Dear colleagues!

We invite you to take part in the International scientific and practical conference «Free and Open Source Software», that will be held from 21 to 23 of November at the Kharkiv National University of Civil Engineering and Architecture.

The objectives of the coference are:

1. Discussion of scientific and practical usage of the free and open source software nowadays.

2. Detection of talanted young people and creation of conditions for their future progress. Encouraging development of students and schoolchildren science works for the further IT professionals skills improvement.

The conference will be divided into three sections:

Section №1. Free services, frameworks, tools and programming environments.

Section №2. Application software: office and special packages.

Section №3. Computer graphics and web design.

Conference languages: Ukrainian, Russian, English.

THE PARTICIPATION IS FREE

For participation it is necessary to fill in the online application form (http://foss.ekit.org.ua) before 15.11.2017 р. and send the report theses:

The report theses requirements:

The article has to be written in Ukrainian, Russian or English language in MS Word 97-2003 (*.doc) format. The theses’ volume – 1 full page.

The file must be named for the first author’s last name.

Page format – А4 (21 cm х 29,7 cm), book orientation, all margins are 2 cm, font – Times New Roman 12, alingment justified, first line indentation 1,25 cm, single lining.

Theses’ name must be typed with bold capital letters in the middle of the first line, authors’ last names and initials below them. In the middle of the next line names of the city and organization are typed, e-mail is given in the separate line. The theses’ text is written through one line. Source links are given in square brackets. The list of sources is named ‘Literature’ and is given in the end of the article through one line. Food, transport and accomodation costs are covered by participants independently.

Conference invites will be sent to e-mails after organising commitee consideration of application.
